The EMT will expand the taxi service on demand in Palma
The modality of taxi service on demand is a measure included in the Palma Mobility Plan, specifically in strategy number 13 of the Plan’s proposals.
The implementation of this service has been possible thanks to the collaboration between the Sustainable Mobility area, the EMT, the ‘Spare’ platform and the taxi sector.
In this sense, taxis that want to join this service can register on the EMT website.
Thus, users can request trips from the ‘Spare’ mobile app or request the service by phone, and then travel to the agreed stop.
