Coming from the United States, the crossfit is more and more trendy in France. This physical activity, a mixture of endurance, gymnastics and weight lifting, allows you to keep fit and to exercise, especially during this period of confinement. Every week, Prolongation offers you a new WOD (Workout of the day) in the company of Arthur Guérin, practitioner of the discipline.
This 28-year-old young man, holder of “sports training” and “fitness professions” licenses, is a former handball player. He started at the AGL Fougères, before joining the training center of Cesson-Rennes then to join the North of France, at Hazebrouk (Nationale 1). He then returned to the West, to the Cercle Paul Bert Rennes Handball (N1). Arthur Guérin has also crossed the world and joined Sydney University Handball, an Australian first division club.
At the end of his playing career, he became a physical trainer for the Sydney team. At the same time, he set up a professional coaching business. On his return to France, he worked as a home trainer and physical trainer for his training club, Cesson-Rennes. Little by little, he specialized in CrossFit and opened Silex CrossFit in Saint-Grégoire, north of Rennes, a small box that offers courses for everyone. In less than ten minutes, with three sets of three exercises, come and exercise with him, accompanied by Line!
