Pictures. Thionville in 1996, the time of a Peplum

Nearly twenty-five years ago, in October 1996, on the occasion of the Fête Days in Thionville, the Théâtre Populaire de Lorraine held its great theatrical celebration. For three days, the troupe was able to perform its show Intermède, written by Marc-Ange Sanz and bringing together nearly sixty actors. It was enhanced by the arrival of the Nantes troupe Royal de Luxe and its Peplum show. A revisited vision of Antiquity accompanied by incredible constructions and robots. If, out of the three performances of Péplum, one had to be canceled due to bad weather, the others did indeed take place, bringing together a large audience on the forecourt of the Municipal Theater. Our photographer has searched his archives to offer you a few shots from one of these outdoor sessions.
