On January 20, media outlets reported the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak in Samut Sakhon Province, according to the Samut Sakhon Provincial Public Health Office, found 92 new cases of the total 29 cases of proactive detection, classified as 3 Thai people and 26 foreigners while found from the hospital testing, another 63 cases, 19 are classified as Thai and 44 foreigners.
The cumulative total of 4,921 confirmed patients were Thai nationals (both in hospital and proactive search), totaling 1,045 and foreigners. (Both from the hospital screening and proactive search) total 3,876 cases
Currently, 137 patients admitted to the hospital are Thais, 194 foreigners, and 1,332 those under observation are all foreigners. On the other hand, those who had recovered from the hospital and those who had observed symptoms until maturity did not find the infection, a total of 3,257 cases were able to return home.In addition, the number of deaths remained at 1.
For proactive search, on Jan. 20, a total of 2,385 proactive search were performed, a total of 51,502 active search results, 447 lab results (20 Jan ’16). The cases found 29 infections, the cumulative number from the lab tests, totaled 46,418 cases, the total cumulative number of infected cases was 3,830.
