Badran revealed to “Masrawy” that the Corona virus has become able to infect all members of the body, through a set of new symptoms different from those common and known symptoms of infection, indicating that 20% of people with corona have uncommon symptoms such as rashes or mouth sores. He added that those with good immunity do not fear these symptoms, as they may be infected and not show any symptoms, and recover completely without any medical interventions, indicating that 40% of people with corona, and even children may be infected without showing symptoms, and that 85% of Diagnosed infections are mild and do not require medical attention.
He said that in addition to the previous classic symptoms of corona, fever, dry cough and shortness of breath, there are different symptoms, namely:
Conjunctivitis:
It may be a symptom of corona infection, especially since the eye is a gateway for the entry of the Corona Covid-19 virus into the human body.
– skin Sensitivity:
Skin allergy, urticaria, and the emergence of a new rash can be among the new symptoms of the virus, so the skin has become an arena for corona action.
Badran reviewed some of the symptoms that appear on the skin, namely:
Small red bumps
He said that small red bumps may appear widely with multiple flat red spots, indicating that they are associated with the most severe Corona disease.
Conjunctivitis
The appearance of redness of the whites of the eyes, indicating that conjunctivitis is more common in the more serious Corona disease.
Swollen skin
Explains that the skin may swell with what looks like swelling that accompanies frost, which is called the fingers of corona, indicating the possibility that it affects the hands or feet or both at the same time, and the red-purple skin can be painful and itchy, and sometimes there is Small blisters or blisters, also noting that cases of swollen fingers often appear late in the disease, after other symptoms, and they are more common in children.
Urticaria
Badran says that it is a pink or red itchy rash that may appear in the form of raised red spots or lumps, ranging from the size of a pinhead to large sizes the size of dishes of food, noting that these swellings disappear within minutes to several hours in one place, but they may It comes and goes elsewhere, and it often lasts for no more than ten days.
He added that urticaria may occur at the same time as other symptoms of corona, at all ages, and that its appearance is associated with the most severe symptoms of Corona.
Watery pimples
They are small, fluid-filled blisters that may appear early in the disease or at any time, and often on the hands, according to Badran, who also explained that they are more common, especially for patients who are in middle age, and they last for ten days or a little more. Associated with Corona disease of medium severity.
Crossing the skin
He explains that they are network-like marks on the skin, their bluish red color resembling fishing nets, sometimes with small bruises, and they are associated with severe infection of older age groups, indicating that this pattern is due to blockage of blood vessels that arise as part of the body’s immune response to the Corona virus.
A rash associated with multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children
Badran says that it occurs with the over-response of the immune system, with inflammation in the heart and blood vessels, which leads to blood clots and symptoms of shock, pointing out that these very rare complications may occur for up to three months after a child is infected with Covid-19.
Hair loss
It is reported that hair loss occurs in severe cases of Corona patients, especially in cases associated with stress, noting that the hair will recover in time, provided that the iron levels are normal.
Exhaustion and fatigue
He confirms that physical exhaustion and extreme fatigue are among the symptoms of the Corona virus, as some are deceived by fatigue, and believe that it is physical fatigue as usual, but it can be an indicator of infection with the Corona virus, indicating that mental fatigue is also an indicator of infection with Corona.
Brain fog
Badran points to the repeated complaints of people with Corona that their concentration level has decreased significantly after days of feeling sore throat or sinusitis and headache.
Digestive complaints
He says that those affected may suffer from digestive problems, especially in children, including vomiting, nausea, diarrhea or abdominal pain.
