Outstanding exponents of urban music unite against social injustice – Quilpué Online

They created the official remix of “Esencia”, the hit by the Spanish singer Haze, this time accompanied by the Quilpueíno “ME”, who thus launched his solo career, together with the young and talented Yiordano Ignacio and the flamenco singer (cantaor) Barroso.

Despite the distance and complications of making music during the pandemic, these days the urban music of Chile and Spain has given life to a song that brings together the rhythm of reggaeton and mambo, along with the direct lyrics of Hip- Hop and his testimonies of life in the neighborhood. From this mix was born the official remix of “Esencia”, the most listened to song by Spanish Haze, which accumulates about 13 million reproductions between Spotify and YouTube, in its original version with Barroso. And now they have joined the young and talented Chilean Yiordano Ignacio along with the singer “ME”, a native of Boston, United States, who lived in Quilpué 12 years ago and thus also launched his solo career.

This international collaboration was born after the connection of Nate Sprague (ME) with the Chilean music producer, Felipe Yanzon, who has worked with great international and national artists such as Juanes, David Bisbal and Américo. In recent times he has been in charge of the post production of various Haze songs, thus the initiative to create the remix of the song “Esencia” was born, also adding Yiordano Ignacio, author of the single “Mambo para los presos” , which has 30 million views on digital platforms.

“It has been a very positive experience, despite the complications of having started this process remotely, between the differences in schedules and various things, but it has been a challenge and at the same time a pleasure. Haze is a ‘crack’, a great person that one can admire and who is also very cultured, studies a lot. Felipe has been in charge of the musical production and left the song playing at an international level, which is very important, as well as the possibility of working with Yiornado Ignacio, which has meant seeing a giant potential in him ”, expressed ME

Regarding the theme of the song, the singer commented that “beyond the impact that this theme has had worldwide, we chose it as a result of everything that has happened in Chile since October 2019, with the social movement. From there our concern as artists arises about what is happening politically and socially, not only in this country, but throughout the world, considering that politicians have a ‘free pass’, nobody controls them and they can count on privileged information, damaging thus to the people, who must work hard to get ahead ”.

It is worth mentioning that the remix of “Esencia” is already available on YouTube with its respective video clip, an audiovisual production that also stands out for its various images of the mobilizations that occurred during the social outbreak in Chile and that, a week after its premiere, it already exceeded 45 thousand views. You can also listen to the single on Spotify and different digital platforms.
