John Romero has sold his smashed keyboard playing Quake – Nerd4.life

John romero has put one up for sale on Ebay Mac keyboard destroyed as he tested Quake in deathmatch. Described as a “nice Mac keyboard” used for “some big computer stuff”, which has come to a bad end during an obviously overly lit gaming session.

The photos of the listing leave no doubts about the state of the object, which looks almost like a contemporary work of art given the current U shape and the lack of some keys. Not for nothing is it listed as “destroyed” and “not working” (who would have thought that?).

In the description, Romero also admitted that he tends to get carried away a little too much by games, to later blame the inanimate objects around him. Note that it is not the last keyboard he destroyed in his long career, but one of many. The very latest ended up in a Museum.

Currently this incredible object can be purchased for a whopping 262 dollars. Considering that there are already 48 bids and that there are about twenty hours to go until the end of the auction (at the time of writing this news), you have to hurry if you don’t want to miss the chance to take it home and help an old developer clean the cellar from his trash.
