Janssen makes a donation to support people with blood cancer. The solidarity campaign of the pharmaceutical company, Globalizados, hope is in the blood, has achieved 106,614 balloons sent in the form of a voice message through an application.
The Janssen initiative, which celebrates its fifth anniversary, promotes the awareness of the Spanish citizenship and gives support to people suffering from blood cancer, as well as their families.
The pharmacist has donated 30,000 euros to the Association against Leukemia and Blood Diseases (Acol), the Association for the fight against leukemia of the Valencian Community (Asleuval) and the Marco Luna Association. The purpose of the donation is for these entities to continue with their work of support and accompaniment to the patient.
The objective of the campaign was to donate 0.50 euros up to 30,000 euros if the 37,000 balloons launched were reached, the current number of patients suffering from blood cancer in Spain. The challenge has been more than met and the campaign has added more than 300,000 virtual balloons of support since its inception.
