A new digital tool in Center-Val de Loire to geolocate the right professional skills in three clicks

Allow business leaders to geolocate in three clicks the training courses that prepare job seekers for their profession and to get in touch with them. This is the promise of the “good professional skills” system originally co-developed by Medef Aquitaine and Pôle emploi in 2019.

The positive experience feedback – even if the tool was put in place during a period more favorable to hiring – encourages the two organizations to deploy this tool in Center-Val de Loire before it is rolled out across the country.

Live trades

Because despite the crisis, “companies still have recruitment problems,” says Nicolas Dumas, departmental and regional president of Medef. Transport, logistics, building, health and medico-social, personal services, agrifood, “these sectors remain particularly in tension”, notes Pôle emploi which aggregates, through this tool, all the training provided in the region, regardless of the funder.

“In the current context, the companies which recruit the most were already in tension before the crisis”, notes Véronique Bonraisin, director of strategy and external relations at Pôle emploi Center-Val de Loire.

Building, health, transport

Some examples of training courses found in the Cher last week:

  • five in the building sector (technician preparing and carrying out electrical building works, professional title as a building painter);
  • thirty-two in transport (driver of road transport of goods on a carrier, drivers for the transport of dangerous materials, C license, etc.);
  • eight in health (health diplomas, state diploma in nursing aid, etc.);
  • one in the medico-social (certificate of aptitude for management functions and head of social intervention unit);
  • one in IT (first professional gestures in IT and digital professions);
  • ten in accounting (accounting and administration assistant, professional title of accounting secretary).

Jobs that remain in tension and employment opportunities despite the crisis

The “good professional skill” allows the recruiter to see at time T on the platform the skills or professions that interest him, the date of availability at the earliest of the job seeker and the place of training. Then get in touch with him directly, via an employment center advisor or even the training organization.

“The idea is to go to the source where people are being trained. It is the “job next door”, the logic of the short circuit, ”explains Nicolas Dumas, who welcomes“ the internal revolution of Pôle emploi which has been able to adapt to offer new services to recruiters. It’s more flexible, more open, more direct. “

This approach also responds to the challenges of the apprenticeship reform, training to better correspond to market demands.

“We are still training”

For Véronique Bonraisin, “it is about offering companies other means to recruit. We give companies the skills available in their territory, which meet their needs, insists the representative of Pôle Emploi. Individual trained individuals are made more visible to increase the probability of accessing employment. »A good way for the recruiter to« test »the job seeker.

“We also show that, during the crisis, we always train,” insists Véronique Bonraisin. She also shares the observation of the partner employers’ organization: “People are looking for work close to where they live. The short circuit also makes it possible to limit turnover. “
