Ismail Youssef, a former member of the Zamalek club, confirmed that the young player, Imam Ashour, did a lot and sacrificed in order to join the White Castle.
Youssef said in statements to Ontime Sports: “Imam Ashour sacrificed for Zamalek, and we followed him for 6 months in the border guards before contracting him.”
He added, “Imam Ashour carried 2 million pounds in his own security receipts in order to join Zamalek.”
He explained, that the player recently became an influential element in the Zamalek team after he focused heavily on the field, pointing out that his behavior outside the stadium is also disciplined.
On the contract deal with Moroccan Ashraf Bencharki, he indicated that Zamalek joined the player in exchange for $ 400,000 from Al Hilal Saudi Arabia, and it became one of the most important deals.
He pointed out that the Tunisian Ferjani Sassi came to Zamalek through the Minister of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, pointing out that at the time Gross was not a supporter of the deal at the beginning, but then he was convinced.
He concluded his remarks: “I spoke with Omar Kharbin 3 months ago and spoke with the director of football in Al-Hilal, and the player was close to moving to Zamalek, and the amount was less than Bencharki, but what the player would get was the obstacle.”
