IN IMAGES – It snowed in Champagne-Ardenne, here is what you photographed

By the evening of Saturday January 16, snow had covered a large part of Champagne-Ardenne. The opportunity for Internet users to take many photographs, relayed in this article.

There will have been no white Christmas. But the snow finally covered with its alabaster mantle the towns and countryside of Champagne-Ardenne. In general, the first snowflakes fell on Saturday January 16, 2021, around 2 p.m. In the Ardennes, it was a bit earlier.

Alsace was one of the first regions to be covered with a layer of powder, ranging from 10 to 30 centimeters depending on the altitude. There were fewer from the Ardennes to the Aube, passing through the two departments of the Marne. But there were still quite a few, as evidenced by the many photographs taken by Internet users of France 3 Champagne-Ardenne, relayed below.

More or less facetious snowmen

Built in the middle of a street in Reims (Marne), this rather unusual snowman will probably not last very long.

A little more classic, this warmly dressed snowman was built in a garden in Châlons-en-Champagne (Marne).
