When she learned of having ovarian cancer seven years ago, Charlotte Husson, a 34-year-old Parisian, did not imagine that a dog would give her morale after this ordeal. A golden retriever responding to the sweet name of Michka. At the time, the young woman, a stylist by training, put her life on hold to heal herself. After three years of treatment, she is recovering painfully. Her body is improving, but morale is sluggish, despite having founded Mister K Fighting Kit, a brand of beauty and wellness kits for the sick.
“I was in a kind of post-treatment depression, I was grieving the child that I would never have. The dog then appeared as my solution, and I immediately made a transfer of affection, ”she recalls. With Michka, happiness enters his life. “I had a 40 m2 apartment, he pissed where the floor of the apartment sloped, so it dripped like that up to the stairs.” But whatever. Their relationship calms him down. She changes her lifestyle, takes a walk of an hour and a half a day and feels invested with a mission: to make her dog happy.
