As the police announced, there was a partial closure of the A61 directly in front of the Ludwigshafen motorway junction due to a medical emergency on Saturday afternoon, behind which traffic was jammed. Because the driver did not clear the way as prescribed, she was checked by officials – but the woman did not see her mistake according to the police. She will probably have to face the consequences anyway, because the officers filmed the incident with a video camera. “Remember emergency lanes can save lives,” the police said.
