Mainz / Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) – The people in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can expect a lot of snow and rain in the coming days. As the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday, Sunday begins covered and with snow, there is a risk of ice. During the day, the snow should turn into rain. The maximum temperature is expected to be between minus one degree in the Westerwald and plus three degrees in lower elevations.

According to the DWD, the highest temperatures will be between two and five degrees. According to the DWD, the sky remains overcast on Tuesday night. At temperatures down to minus three degrees there is a risk of slipperiness. Clouds and rain can also be expected on Tuesday. The temperatures will then probably not rise above six degrees.
