They will be the only ones in Chalonnes to receive the mayor’s wishes in flesh and blood! About fifteen inhabitants of Soleil-de-Loire had a visit from the mayor on Wednesday. “A little distraction they really need”, comments the manager, Dorothée Gourdon, who organized the meeting according to health rules: masks, distance, small group in two sessions.
Marie-Madeleine Monnier, mayor, was accompanied by Jacqueline Poirier, municipal councilor in charge of seniors, and Ghislaine Lequeux, member of the CCAS (communal center for social action).
After showing the video, which can be seen on the City’s website and Facebook, and clarifying the City’s overall projects, Marie-Madeleine Monnier developed the projects for the residence. The exterior of the establishment will be repainted, a disabled parking space fitted out and the last bathrooms (six remaining) renovated. A study is underway for a remote assistance service common to all residents.
“Today, everyone has chosen – or not – a type of remote assistance. Today, our establishment is obliged to implement it for all. This implies an organization for a new mission that we did not have before ”, explains Dorothée Gourdon.
Finally, the kitchen of the residence (which is also the central kitchen of Chalonnes) will undergo a major renovation.
