VALENCIA. Among the financing channels that the so-called audiovisual cartel of the brother of the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, and his partners tried to resort to during the period in which they were investigated for agreeing on prices is the Valencian Institute of Finance (IVF) directed by Manuel Illueca. The intention was to request a loan for the company Kriol Produccions, whose sole administrator is Enrique Adell Bover. However, the Valencian public bank it was rejected, as confirmed by sources from the entity itself.
As you may have learned Valencia Plaza, the request for money was for audiovisual material. Specifically, for a mobile unit. Once the request reached the IVF, it was forwarded to the Reciprocal Guarantee Society (SGR) –now Affin SGR–, which ruled against granting the loan, so that the public bank denied it in the same sense. From the entity they emphasize that the procedure was scrupulously followed as in any other case.
The idea of going to her is reflected in the conversations in the file of the inquiries carried out by the Commission for the Defense of Competition of the Valencian Community. The result was a sanction of 43,000 euros to the commercial companies Comunicacions dels Ports, Kriol Produccions and Canal Maestrat for agreeing prices for a contest of correspondents of À Punt. The first one is managed by Francis Puig and the next two for the Adell Bover. In March 2019 they talked about this issue:

The meeting, indeed, took place between the protagonists of the conversation and the Valencian public bank to request that loan in favor of Enrique Adell’s company – later denied.
