The community of Schömberg is certified as a child and family-friendly community. This can be seen in the good care in the six day-care centers for children from the age of one and continues in the Ludwig-Uhland-Schule. With a youth center that was newly opened in 2009 and a youth officer, the local council and administration have set a further focus for child and youth work.
The diverse activities and offers of the Schömberger clubs, which also practice active work with children and young people, are of course indispensable in community life.
