The second round of Covid mass tests will take place in Burgenland from 13th to 17th January. Registration for this has been possible online since January 4th at www.oesterreich-testet.gv.at. More than 30,000 people have already reserved an appointment.
The voluntary, free antigen rapid tests are offered at a total of 34 test stations in Burgenland: On all five test days in Neusiedl am See, Eisenstadt, Mattersburg, Oberpullendorf, Oberwart, Güssing and Jennersdorf. At all other locations, they will take place on three days – from January 15th to 17th.
In Eisenstadt, the all-sports center will be adapted for the tests from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. The preparations are almost complete, reports Mayor Thomas Steiner (ÖVP) and the head of the municipal Corona task force, Magistrate Director Gerda Török.
