The singer, songwriter and producer Monica Tomasi, who has lived in Kusel for almost three years, comes from Porto Alegre in southern Brazil and belongs to a generation that knows what she has to say. Her compositions are modern, have personality, and her style moves slightly between pop and samba. Her voice and melodies full of harmony make her songs unforgettable. She meets timbres and sound elements, plays and composes following an acoustically elegant structure. In fact, Monica’s guitar is always there. Their presence on stage is contagious and their interpretations are anything but banal, commercial or clichéd. It’s Brazilian pop full of lightness.
