Almost exactly a year ago, a prototype called the Vision-S was developed so advanced that Sony began testing it on public roads, in Austria. She announced this in a short press release, accompanied by a video from the testing.

Vision-S was the first and straightforward electric entry of Sony into the world of cars for the first time at the CES consumer electronics trade fair in Las Vegas in January 2020. But even then it was clear that development was not beginning – a car was introduced that could go immediately serial production.

Nevertheless, it is still not there and next to mobile phones and playstations we will not find it in the company’s offer – development is still ongoing. And obviously successful when the car is tested in normal operation. However, the company did not announce how many kilometers he has driven or is yet to drive.

For completeness – the Sony Vision-S is an electric car with a total output of 272 hp, which boasts especially advanced assistance systems, enabling semi-autonomous driving. The technology giant on the car cooperates with big names in the automotive industry, such as Magna Steyr, Bosch or ZF. However, the market still does not have a specific date.
