Newcastle were humbled. Sheffield’s goal was scored by Billy Sharp in the 73rd minute. Sheffield led the way in possession and attack. Newcastle are 15th on the points table and Sheffield are 20th.

Manchester City face Brighton in the English Premier League today. The match will be played at City Stadium at 11.30pm. Former champions City are fifth with 29 points from 15 games. Brighton are 17th with 14 points. In another match, Tottenham will face Fulham at 1am Indian time. Tottenham are currently in fourth place with 29 points

London: Fighting in the fourth round of the FA Cup awaits. Manchester United will face defending Premier League champions Liverpool. The match will be played at United ‘s home ground. Chelsea will face Luton. Manchester City will face Cheltenham. Tottenham will face Wycombe. Arsenal’s rivals have not been determined.
