New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked the Center whether it can suspend the implementation of the three agricultural laws as the farmers’ agitation intensifies. ‘Whether you break the rules or not, we can stop. There is no need for ego here – the court said.
The court was hearing a petition challenging the agrarian laws and the farmers’ agitation on the Delhi border.
‘Each of us will be responsible if something goes wrong. We do not need injuries or blood on our hands’ – Chief Justice S.A. Bobde said. The apex court said the farmers could continue protesting till the law is stayed.
