With the 1: 2 at home against bottom of the table Linz, the Bulldogs Dornbirn suffered their fourth defeat in a row.
After the last three defeats in a row, the Bulldogs from Dornbirn wanted to get back on the road to victory today against the tattered bottom light Linz. Anything but a home win against the straggler would have been a disappointment for the sixth in the table.
–
The game then started as expected – the Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the 4th minute through Yogan. Subsequently, however, the home side found it difficult to match. But after the Linzers could hardly create any really compelling chances, the narrow Bulldogs lead went into the first break.

Linz compensates
In the second section, Linz got off to a better start and also made it 1: 1 in the 27th minute through Lebler. Shortly afterwards, the Bulldogs were given the opportunity to take the lead again twice. But as is so often the case this season, the Dornbirn team didn’t achieve much in the power play. So after 20 rather uneventful minutes we went 1-1 with the second break.
–
In the last section, the people of Linz were again equal and made life difficult for the people of Dornbirn. When two Bulldogs players had to leave the ice, the guests even managed to make it 1: 2 through Bartulis in the 52nd minute. Since the Bulldogs could not play a decisive role in the rest of the season, there was already the fourth defeat in a row.
