Cristiano Ronaldo has shown throughout his career and in recent seasons, to be a great player and an exceptional forward. His goal against Sassuolo in addition to directing him as the scorer of the current Serie A season, has opened a debate about the title of “top scorer in history”.
The goal that closed 3-1 against Sassuolo, not only keeps him with 15 goals as the top scorer of the Italian tournament, but it is also his 759th career score, counting the official goals between clubs and national team, and recently left on the road the 757 that register Pelé.
The controversy hangs over the Portuguese for the real dispute whether or not the Portuguese equaled the figure as the highest scorer in history that the Austrian Josef Bican has. On the one hand, statesmen like the Spanish Mister Chip maintain that the figure that Bican has is 759 official goals in his professional career, however, FIFA and the IFFHS register 805 goals in favor of the former Austrian striker, so Ronaldo’s record will be in question for a time.
