(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Dong-gyu = Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) will supply a total of 92,000 houses through the redevelopment and maintenance project of Sujin 1 and Sinheung 1 districts in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do.
LH announced on the 11th that it was designated as the implementer of the Sujin 1 and Shinheung 1 redevelopment maintenance zone projects in accordance with the ‘2030 Seongnam City Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Plan’ announced last year, and that it is promoting the housing supply business in earnest.
LH, which is pursuing the’public-led redevelopment project’ in Seongnam City, has already completed the first stage redevelopment projects such as Dandae and Middle 3 districts, and is currently in the second stage of the project, including Shinheung 2nd, Middle 1st and Geumgwang 1st districts. This time, a new public-led redevelopment project will be promoted in Sujin 1 and Sinheung 1 areas.
The public-led redevelopment that LH is promoting, unlike the existing private redevelopment, which puts profitability first, adopts a circular maintenance method to help residents resettle and pursue stable projects.
The circular maintenance method is a method of helping residents of houses that are demolished through redevelopment by using existing houses in or near the maintenance area or relocating them to the local area when regeneration is complete.
LH plans to provide rental apartments in Wirye and Yeosu districts as circulation housing to migrants in Sujin 1 and Sinheung 1 districts.
In addition to the redevelopment project, LH will also provide new vitality to the city by supporting small businesses suffering from Corona 19 and providing job support centers, public leasehold prices, and social overhead living capital (SOC) complex. Plan.
LH plans to sign a project implementation agreement with resident representative meetings for each area, discuss details related to project plans such as relocation and construction plans with residents, and actively reflect residents’ needs.
Seong-ho Kim, head of LH’s Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters, said, “We will cooperate with Seongnam City to establish a relocation plan and form a working-level council to continue discussing the project implementation authorization, management disposition plan, and various pending issues for the rapid move-in of this project.”
