Swiss defender Dean Kukan will have an additional opponent in view of a place in the Blue Jackets roster: the Columbus club have awarded a one-year contract to Michael Del Zotto, who played in 2012-2013 at Rapperswil for the lockout.
Del Zotto had been invited to training camp and therefore seems to have convinced. However, it is a two-part deal that will net him USD 700,000. Aged 30, Del Zotto will therefore evolve for a 7th formation since playing in NHL.
