He is the new face of the NBA: Dallas superstar Luka Doncic (21).
The young Slovenian star scored a so-called triple-double in his Mavericks’ 112: 98 victory over Orlando: 20 points, eleven rebounds and ten assists.
It is the 27th time that he has achieved such a feat in the NBA. Now he’s chasing possibly the greatest basket hunter of all time: Michael Jordan (57)!
The Chicago Bulls legend recorded 28 triple doubles in his entire NBA career – it won’t be long before Doncic will have cracked this mark as well. Almost unbelievable when you consider that the Slovenian has not even played three full seasons in the best basketball league in the world.

But records are now nothing new for the former teammate of basketball icon Dirk Nowitzki (42)! At the age of 16, Doncic made his debut as the youngest player of all time for the top European club Real Madrid. At the age of only 17 he was voted the best player in the Euro League – record!
In 2018 he ventured into the NBA and the record hunt continued! In January 2019, he became only the second teenager ever to achieve a triple-double in the NBA – meanwhile, the super talent has added another 26.
And good for all Mavericks fans: There will probably be a lot more!
