Roma will meet at home with Inter Milan in the 17th round of the Italian Championship. The match will take place on January 10 in Rome, beginning at 14:30 Moscow time. Roma – Inter: forecast, rate, odds, statistics.
Roma
Perhaps someone else disagrees with this, but it is clear that Roma are among the main contenders for the Scudetto this season.
After 16 games played, the Romans are in third place in the standings. Paulo Fonseca’s team is just four points behind Milan, which is still in the lead, and just one point behind Inter.
In the previous six rounds Roma won five victories. Only the away match against Atalanta became a failure during this period. In Bergamo, Roma opened the scoring in the first minutes, but in the end conceded four goals in response and suffered a major defeat. As they say, suddenly something went wrong.
It is also interesting that Roma have never lost in eight home games – six wins and two draws. So far, only Juventus and Sassuolo have managed to survive in Rome.
At home in the Serie, Roma scored 19 goals in eight matches.
Inter
In the last round, Inter had a great chance to catch up or even overtake Milan and come out on top. But instead Antonio Conte’s team lost to Sampdoria and remained on the second line.
The match in Genoa began when Alexis Sanchez missed a penalty, after which Inter conceded two goals in the first half. In the second half, despite numerous attacks, the Nerazzurri managed to win back only one goal.
But it is hardly worth focusing attention on this game, much more attention is drawn to the fact that before the meeting with “Samp” the Milan club won eight matches in a row. And, perhaps, Inter just can be considered the main favorite of the Italian season.
“Inter” in the current league could not win only in three away matches. And if anything, Inter have the best attack in the league – the team scored 41 goals in 16 matches.
Forecast and rate
Bookmakers do not see a favorite in the upcoming match, Roma can be bet for 3.02, and Inter – for 2.43. A draw is offered for 3.86.
Time flies so fast that some details go unnoticed. For example, over the past five years, Inter have won only one victory over Roma. At the same time, the teams managed to draw five times.
The next game may well end in a draw. It is unlikely that the opponents will take too much risk, and this, by the way, may turn out to be a trap for everyone who will bet on goals. When bookmakers hint that the match will be productive, very often the opposite happens.
Rate – draw for 3.86.
Or a draw with an exact score of 1: 1 for 6.90… By the way, the ratio is much higher by 2: 2 – 10.00… But it’s not a fact that teams will be able to break the total over 3.5.
