Streaming speakers: the radio is alive

Radio broadcasts have been around for a hundred years and the offer continues to grow. Even manufacturers of loudspeakers are now producing their own programs.

Sonos is known for streaming speakers. Anyone who owns a device can also receive the Sonos radio programs.

A hundred years ago music was still made by hand. Or it croaked from the bell of a gramophone. But soon an achievement was to conquer the world that we still call radio today. The new service celebrated its premiere on December 22nd, 1920 with a Christmas concert in the small town of Königs Wusterhausen, southeast of Berlin, broadcast on long wave with a range of around 2000 kilometers.
