C2MI has also proven itself in terms of “industry-academy” collaboration by partnering with multiple educational establishments. In particular the University of Sherbrooke, the Cégep de Granby, UQAM, Laval University, McGill, Concordia, then the École de technologie supérieure. “Each year, the C2MI welcomes more than a hundred university students, of which more than 60% are doctoral and post-doctoral students,” says Bromont’s application presentation document. “Since the very beginning of C2MI, we have been working to achieve optimal technology transfer.
