Ice hockey – Magnus League: Nice at the top of a truncated ranking

Nice took the lead in the Magnus League thanks to their 6-4 victory in Chamonix, but the Eagles have played far more games than other teams, such as Grenoble, which beat Cergy 4-3.

Eighteen Ligue Magnus games will take place during the month of January, although it will be behind closed doors, and four of them were played this Friday, counting as four different days. For the 11th day, Nice went to win 6-4 at Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and took first place in the standings, even if this ranking does not mean much since the Eagles have already played thirteen games, against only five for some. The Pioneers however led 3-1 in this part, thanks to Kazarine (2nd), Terrier (14th) and Tavernier (32nd) against a goal from Kopta in the 42nd second. But the Eagles then signed a 4-0 by Brincko (40th), Vrielynck (46th), Kopta (47th) and Knotek (50th). Jasper (55th) for Chamonix and Heizer (60th) for Nice scored the last goals of the game. The Pioneers are tenths.

Grenoble offers Cergy

In third place, but with five games less contested compared to Nice, we find Angers, who went to win 3-1 at Gap, seventh. It took 45 minutes to see a goal in this part, scored by Bortino for the Rapaces. But the Dukes scored three in the last thirteen minutes of the match, by Hamill (48th), Halley (57th) and Bouvet (60th), and won. Bordeaux, sixth, made a bad operation by losing 6-3 at home against Mulhouse (10th). The Scorpions were already leading 3-0 at the end of the first third thanks to Msumbu (2nd), Marcott (5th) and Lessard (14th). Skinnars (15th) and Labelle (37th) allowed the Boxers to return to 2-3, but Loizeau (37th) and Rousseau (40th) gave some air to Mulhouse (2-5). Poudrier (55th) scored the last Bordeaux goal and Campbell (59th) the last Mulhouse goal. Finally, the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble (8th) only played their sixth game of the season, and won it 4-3 against the Jokers de Cergy (11th). Munoz (6th) and Aleardi (19th) put the Isérois in orbit, but Kalter (23rd) and Lubin (25th) equalized for the players of Val d’Oise. Valier (25th) and Munoz (46th) offered victory to Grenoble, Schmitt saving the honor for Cergy in the 47th.
