On social media, he regularly appeared with a bloody face and a broken nose. But that’s not all. On the occasion of American music awards 2020, the young man walked the red carpet with his eyes banged up and his face covered with bandages, as if he had just been the victim of a fight, never seen before!

On January 6, it was with an even different look that the interpreter of “In your eyes” appeared on social networks. No more blood, this time The Weeknd has bet on a radical transformation. It seems that he had undergone cosmetic surgery which transformed him.
A radical transformation?
While one might think that The Weeknd has become the third of the Bogdanoff brothers, it could be that this change is not final. Abel, his real name, did not give in to the call of the scalpel but simply had fun transforming his face helped by Mike Marino, a visual effects and FX makeup specialist who revealed the underside of this metamorphosis on his social networks.
As an artist, the Canadian singer likes to put himself in the shoes of different characters by playing sometimes crazy roles. This physical change was therefore created for the realization of his new music video Save your tears.
