world medical e. V. is an internationally active, feminist women’s rights and aid organization that supports women and girls in war and crisis areas. In our own programs and in cooperation with local women’s organizations, we offer holistic support to those affected by sexual violence on site. At the political level, we also campaign aggressively for the implementation of women’s rights, demand consistent punishment of crimes and effective protection, justice and political participation for survivors of violence. Currently is world medical among others in Northern Iraq / Kurdistan, Afghanistan, West Africa, Southeast Europe and the Great Lakes region of Africa.

Funding Advisor (100%)
Your main duties are
- Identification of funding opportunities for projects and programs from world medical at home and abroad as well as maintaining contact with our donors
- Advice on project planning and elaboration of meaningful applications to private and institutional donors
- Knowledge management in the area of funding acquisition
- Contribution to accountability to our donors and internal bodies
- Participation in acquisition planning
You bring
- a university degree in a social science subject
- At least 3 years of job-relevant professional experience and practice in project management and project development in development cooperation, in particular in creating impact matrices and monitoring concepts
- Experience in applying for and handling projects with relevant donors (BMZ, EU, UN, European bilateral donors, foundations, etc.) and knowledge of German budget law
- good knowledge of the German and international foundation landscape
- Enjoyment of raising funds and an independent and result-oriented way of working
- very good oral and written communication skills
- Fluent knowledge of German and English as well as a good command of French, spoken and written
- Identification with the goals and values of world medical
