Talal Al Sheikh, director of the Arab Championship, revealed the stadium for the match between Raja and Ismaili in the semi-final.
Talal Al Sheikh said in statements toFilGoal.com: “The match observer visited Mohamed V’s boat today, Thursday, and examined the floor, and in light of that, he decided to transfer the match to Marrakesh in his report.”
Raja had applied to transfer the match from Mohamed V to Marrakesh due to the poor pitch.
Raja’s request was rejected by the Ismaili, who first stuck to his residence on the specified stadium, before the match was finally transferred.
Raja bid farewell to the CAF Champions League on the Mohamed V complex a few days ago with a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in a match that was held on the stadium in poor condition due to heavy rain.
Ismaily will face Raja next Monday, in the second leg of the Arab League semi-finals.
The Dervishes had won the first leg in Egypt with a goal, and the team needed a goalless draw only to reach the final and meet the Jeddah Federation.
