CD Alcoyano is reunited with victory in Santa Eulalia

Second Division B Group III Subgroup B.- Matchday 7; SCR PEÑA DEPORTIVA – CD ALCOYANO – Campo Municipal de Santa Eulalia.

After accumulating a draw and a defeat, CD Alcoyano returned to the path of victory after managing to beat an SCR Peña Deportiva at home that did not make it easy for them.

The meeting would begin with a few first measures of scoring by both teams. Thus, as the minutes passed, it was the home team that began to feel more comfortable with the ball. As a result, the first warning was from Juancho, although without great danger. Those from Alcoy did not take long to be noticed and Juanan was about to intercept a loan to the goalkeeper.

After the first half hour of play, the Peña Deportiva had the ball and generated its most dangerous chances. First Juancho threw from the front and narrowly missed the goal. And already at the edge of the break, again Juancho tried his luck from the front and crashed the ball into the crossbar.

After passing through the changing rooms, Alcoyano went out onto the pitch with one more march and looking for the goal defended by Seral. In this way, in the first minutes Rubio would warn with a shot that he would leave. And when we had already exceeded the meeting time, the goal would arrive for the visitors: a messy play would end with the loose ball inside the area, whose rejection would finally be caught by Ramón to shoot and score.

From this moment on, Vicente Parras’ pupils organized themselves well to maintain their minimum advantage. For its part, the Peña Deportiva was turning in search of the tie but without being able to generate clear chances. In addition, the home team ended up playing with ten when De Val saw the second yellow.

After this victory, Alcoyano finished the day with 9 points and positioned in fourth place.
