Rudy Gobert’s Utah Jazz missed their trip to New York: two losses on the clock.
The 1st, very heavy (130-96), Tuesday night at the Brooklyn Nets, yet deprived of their star Kevin Durant. The Picard pivot has accumulated 10 points and 11 rebounds but still with an address at half mast (30%) as in previous matches.
And the second this Wednesday evening, at Madison Square Garden (empty of course), against the New York Knicks (112-100). Knicks much less rated but making a good start to the season. Gobert had yet regained his skill (14 points at 7/9) but not his teammates (44% shooting for Utah). He is still the 2nd best rebounder in the NBA with 13.3 catches / game.
Utah therefore has a record of 4 wins-4 losses.
Next game of this tour in the East: Milwaukee – Utah Friday night.
