Austin Rivers signed 23 points (9/14) including 14 in a row (4 3-point shots in the last 4’17 of the match) at the end of the match, Julius Randle compiled 30 points at 10/26, 16 rebounds and 7 assists and Elfrid Payton 22 points (10/15, 8 passes)
Led by up to 18 points in the 1st half after a 19-5 conceded, the Knicks dominated the 2nd 68-44 (including 34-19 in the 3rd quarter) and won their 5th victory in 6 games. Jordan Clarkson finished leading Jazz scorer – already beaten 130-96 Tuesday by Brooklyn – with 19 points, ahead Donovan Mitchell and its 18 points
With the two teams tied for 96 anywhere under the remaining 5 minutes of play, Rivers scored 5 points in a row before a Mitchell basket, then planted two consecutive 3-pointers to give the Knicks 9 points in a row, 107 -98, 2’22 from the end. Mitchell found his way back to the basket but Rivers scored again, this time for the +10, 47 seconds from the buzzer.
