Uploaded to Figeac Coeur de vie’s Facebook and Youtube pages on Friday, December 5, the video recorded more than 12,000 views in a few days. Canal Fi, the local channel, also put it in the spotlight in its broadcast schedule before the holidays. Currently still shown during the day in the shop window of the merchants’ association located rue Gambetta, this little film sums up in one minute and twenty seconds the worried hours spent during the confinements … Then the happy reopening of the shops, but also the sadness in front of the the curtains always drawn in bars and restaurants. “We missed you, we keep the essential: to be there, with you”, such is the positive and lucid message sent by the traders to the inhabitants.
This acclaimed video was produced by Régie Sud, a joyful team made up of Sophie Mitrani and Nicolas Ubelmann, directors who have been living in Figeac for several years, who were keen to capture the beautiful dynamics of the city center.
