– The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Japan has reached 5,000 a day.

According to the local public broadcaster NHK on the 6th, the number of confirmed corona19 in Japan the previous day was 4915. On the 31st of last month, it surpassed the record of 4,520 confirmed cases per day in about a week.

The number of deaths per day was 76, breaking the record. As a result, the cumulative confirmed cases were 25,4152 and 3,769 deaths.

The Japanese government has announced an emergency declaration on the 7th as the spread of Corona 19 in Korea is getting serious. This is the second emergency issued after April-May last year.

The emergency is expected to be issued for about a month in four metropolitan local governments, including Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Chiba prefectures.

The Japanese government considers drinking parties to be the main route for the spread of infection, and it is expected to focus its administrative power on inducing the reduction of business hours at restaurants. In addition, it is recommended to request unnecessary outings or movement itself and to actively implement telework (remote work from home), and restrictions on the number of people entering various venues will be strengthened. However, there is no separate request for school closures for front-line schools, and the schedule for college entrance examinations is also planned to proceed as scheduled.
