Summary
The objective of the presentation is to describe and discuss aspects of the design of the semi-structural guidelines guide, and the development of in-depth interviews in a socio-anthropological investigation on out-of-pocket expenses in patients with breast cancer in public hospitals of the AMBA. In addition, it will be shown how the reflective nature of the qualitative methodology when conducting participant observation in the health services allowed enriching the development of the interviews, the understanding of the experiences, and the analysis of the information and experiences collected. As a conclusion, the particularities of theoretical-practical learning are shown from the development of an investigation on a public health problem.
