The productive revolution, promoted by the Regional Government of San Martín, represents a high impact on the economic development of farmers belonging to the Coffee and Cocoa Project, who reached more than 40 million soles in sales at the end of the year.
This result considers, in the case of cocoa trees, a commercial articulation of 31 million 536 thousand soles, which is equivalent to 18.5% of total production, through the installation of 25 demonstration plots with technical irrigation, with 121 producers accredited to the SINEACE. In addition, the quality and classification of farmers in relation to the management of cocoa cultivation was guaranteed; while 51 of them managed to manage a fertilization plan to increase productivity and mitigate cadmium in their plantations.
Similarly, for the Coffee Project the outlook is favorable with 8 million 779 thousand 773 soles in national sales, of 21 thousand 592 quintals of the parchment variety and 3 million 756 thousand 698 soles in the export of 5776 quintals of green coffee, with the installation of 56 demonstration plots (28 in production and 28 in renovation) that have a drip irrigation system or fertigation.
Likewise, twenty-eight beneficiary organizations managed to offer their products on a digital platform and seven have management tools to improve their commercial strategy. In addition to this, the laboratory for product quality control installed in the Rioja Economic Development Agency was implemented.
Regarding the Orange Project, 6 demonstration plots with irrigation and technical fertilization were installed in operation and 3 business plans with an Agroideas approach are being formulated with the organizations Citricoop, Coopacsa and the Association of Agroindustrial Ledoy Producers.
For its part, the Maíz Project has achieved the implementation of 3 drying modules for this grain in the provinces of El Dorado, Picota and Bellavista and commercially articulated 554.12 metric tons of this product with a sale of 547,792 soles.
Similarly, the registration of 1800 property titles that are being delivered progressively in the districts of San Roque de Cumbaza, Cacatachi, San Rafael, Pajarillo and Rumisapa stands out.
In addition to the achievements in the agricultural field, the preparation of 20 technical files IOARR (Investments for Optimization, Marginal Expansion, Rehabilitation and Replacement) for the repair of irrigation canals through an agreement between Goresam and Midagri is added.
