PSV says goodbye to Alfa Romeo after three years and chooses ‘A-brand’ BMW

PSV scatters news during his New Years show on Wednesday evening. The people of Eindhoven have hired a new car sponsor for the next four years: from next season, the cars of the players and other employees will be supplied by BMW.

PSV concluded a deal with Alfa Romeo in 2018, but will therefore start working with a new partner after three years. It seems the intention is for both parties to remain connected for years to come. “BMW is sustainable, innovative and sporty. PSV would like to identify with those values”, commercial director Frans Janssen said in conversation with the club channels. “BMW is an A-brand of international allure and its characteristics perfectly match what we want to convey with PSV.”

The BMWs will be supplied by Driessen Autolease, which has been associated with PSV for many years. “We have been working with Driessen Autolease for years and are very satisfied with the service they provide”, Janssen agrees. “That also suits PSV.”

Earlier on Wednesday, PSV reported that Ruud van Nistelrooy will be the new trainer of Jong PSV. The former Eredivisietop scorer will succeed Peter Uneken next summer.
