Press reports revealed that French club Saint-Etienne is close to finalizing the contract deal with Mostafa Mohamed, Zamalek striker, during the current transfer window.
“Saint-Etienne is close to reaching an agreement to include Mostafa Mohamed,” Nabil Djelet, a journalist working for the French magazine France Football, said on Twitter.
He added: “The final value of the deal has not yet been determined. Zamalek asked for six million euros to abandon his striker, who did not want to sell him.”
“The player’s desire to play in the French league with Saint-Etienne pushed the deal file forward,” he concluded.
Essam Salem, the official spokesman for Zamalek, said that Zamalek agreed to Mustafa Mohamed’s professionalism in exchange for six million dollars, with other additions related to the number of goals and a percentage of future resale.
It is worth noting that Mustafa Muhammad also received a Turkish offer during the current period, in addition to the French offer, which is more serious to obtain the player’s services.
