Elements of the Social Proximity Division in attention to Victims of Violence of the State Preventive Police and Metropolitan Police, participated in the Operation “Reyes Seguro” that was organized by the Guadalupe City Council.
It was a carousel-type operation in which corporations from the SSP, SEDENA, National Guard, Preventive Police and municipal authorities participated, with the aim of touring neighborhoods in the municipality of Guadalupe and providing security in commercial areas and areas of banks and ATMs to provide security during the celebration and shopping for Three Kings Day.
The Secretary of Public Security, Arturo López Bazán, recognized the work of the elements that make up the SSP corporations and reiterated the disposition of the institution he directs to collaborate with the municipalities and work in unity.
He explained that, through the ESPIZ, it seeks not only to strengthen security corporations and move from reaction to proactivity, but also to seek rapprochement with citizens and foster trust in their police officers.
Finally, he added that it will be through collaborative work, not only inter-institutional, but also of the Zacatecans, that the objective of strengthening security in the entity can be achieved.
