NEW YORK – New York City Police are searching for a man who authorities say allegedly threw an 83-year-old woman onto the sidewalk and stole her purse in Queens over the weekend.
The elderly woman was walking down Queens Boulevard around 5:15 p.m. Sunday when the unidentified suspect got out of a car. SUV In the dark, she grabbed her bag and tossed it to the ground, authorities say. The alleged thief took about $ 50, the victim’s ID, bank cards and an iPhone.
The woman suffered a broken elbow from the attack, police said.
