The whistleblower Yan2295 emphasized that “GTA6” will not be released in the short term. Last year, former Kotaku and current Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier said that “GTA6” is in the early stages of development. Yan2295 didn’t approve it at first, but now admits that “GTA6” does require more patience.
Regarding the reasons, Yan2295 pointed out that “GTA6” started its initial planning as early as 2015, and should have been formally invested in the main research and development in 2016 or 2017, but the attention of R star was subsequently lost by “Red Dead Redemption 2” and “Bullies”. “Rooney 2” attracted, “Red Dead Redemption 2” was finally released, but the development of “Bullie Rooney 2” was stopped halfway through.
From this point of view, the real development work of “GTA6” began in 2018. According to the previous generation’s five-year rhythm, we may have to wait until 2023 to see this work come out.
