Several cyclists were filmed intentionally attacking the vehicle of a mother on a street in New York.

It is an unprecedented outburst of violence that occurred on December 29 in a street in Manhattan in New York.
Young cyclists deliberately attacked the vehicle of a mother. The scene, which was filmed by several witnesses, was widely relayed on social networks.
Broken windshield and punches in the doors
In the images, several young people can be seen on bicycles coming to strike the vehicle, a BMW X5, driven by a young mother who was with her son between East 21st Street and Fifth Avenue. The altercation which occurred around 4 p.m. was due to a slight accident which had occurred a few moments earlier between the driver and one of the cyclists in the gang. The latter, who had been surprised by the sudden stop of the vehicle, had struck the SUV from behind.
When the mother’s car was immobilized in the flow of traffic, the gang of people surrounded the vehicle before violently attacking it. In the video, we can see the teenagers coming to kick and punch in the cabin of the SUV while another climbs on the vehicle before kicking hard in the windshield, the breaking in passing.

They spat on the car, slammed a bike onto the windshield, then a guy jumped on it & they broke the handle, trying to open the door from the outside.

One individual challenged, others actively sought
For its part, the New York police said they had apprehended one of the individuals who participated in the violence. ” We need your help to identify the other people involved. »Specifies the police who are mainly looking for the four other young people who deliberately struck the mother’s vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
