Graz residents write history

If you have always wished in history class to go down in history yourself at some point, then you have the opportunity to start now.

FROM NICO LANG

The Graz Museum is looking for contemporary witnesses for what is probably the most unusual year in a long time. We are looking for … everything!

So if you have pictures of cleared supermarket shelves, your pasta and toilet paper supplies or empty spaces, you have a piece of history at home. Documents, notes, signs, posters and sound and video recordings, e.g. from one of the numerous Zoom meetings, are also searched for. So basically everything. But you can also let off steam creatively and send in poems, drawings, collages, models, etc. There should be a “Corona Collection” exhibition as early as next year. Maybe you will find your submission there again.

Christmas special

Since the Christmas holidays last year were spent differently and mostly on a smaller scale than usual and the New Year’s Eve parties were (luckily) banned, the Graz Museum is also specifically looking for history at this time. Maybe you will get rid of one or the other unwanted Christmas present.

Submissions are here possible.
