As expected, it drew numerous again this Sunday
Day trippers in the Black Forest. Well-filled parking spaces, especially on the well-known sledge slopes, were reported from all districts of the Freiburg police headquarters (Waldshut-Tiengen, Lörrach, Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, Freiburg-Stadt, Emmendingen).

In addition to punishing parking violations, the police also repeatedly spoke to people and pointed out the applicable distance rules. The hints were for the most part comprehensively accepted and followed by the people. However, due to the high number of people, only some of the people could be addressed.

While the number of parking spaces in most of the locations was still sufficient, the driveways from Waldkirch and St. Peter had to be temporarily closed at Kandel. There the parking lots were overcrowded early and traffic chaos arose on the access roads.

Overall, there was a high volume of traffic and accordingly slow-moving traffic. With the onset of dusk, the situation in the wintry areas relaxed again.
