Bond Girl and That ’70s Show actress Tanya Roberts, 65, passed away | NOW

Actress Tanya Roberts has passed away at the age of 65. The actress was best known for her roles as ‘Bond Girl’ in A View To A Kill (1985) and her role as Midge in the comedy series That 70’s Show.

Her spokesperson tells The Hollywood Reporter that the actress suddenly collapsed while walking the dogs. She was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles, but died there on Sunday. Her death is not corona related, but the family has not announced what Roberts died of.

Roberts started acting in 1975, when she landed a role in the horror movie Forced Entry. After that she played in several films, but she became really known to the general public for her role alongside Roger Moore. In the Bond film, she played an American geologist who must rescue Bond from Max Zorin (Christopher Walken).

Although the actress hoped that this would be the start of a long career, it was not successful. In recent interviews, she said she feared it beforehand because she saw it as part of “the curse of being a Bond Girl.” “I remember saying to my agent: Nobody ever finds a job after playing a Bond Girl. Nonsense he thought, Glen Close had done it that way,” he said.

More recently she played in for seasons That 70’s Show as the mother of character Donna (Laura Prepon).
